The trimming compactor (for plastic trimmings), is an automatic machine that is used in the process of recycling scraps of PP-PTP-PE-PA plastics and their composites for storage, regardless of their following destination.

A piece of equipment incorporating a Venturi system vacuums the plastic trimmings by means of a blower and conveys them into a loading chamber. Here, the material is pushed, by means of a piston, into a compression chamber, where, with the help of the heated electrical resistances, it is compacted into a slab which is then transferred to the output chamber. At the end of the chamber there is a pneumatic cutting device which cuts the slab according to the set lengh paramete.
